I’ve always been the kind of person to look forward, honing I’m on strengths and weaknesses and searching for the next best thing to work on, invest in, exhaust my time and energy over.
Recently during a conversation with my best friend and soul mate, also known as my husband, he reminded me of how far we have come. How far I have come, how much I’ve grown and also, how little time I make for reflecting on all of it.
The problem with being the type of person that is always pressing forward—I’m also an enneagram 1, shoutout to all of my fellow 1’s!—is that they often forget to stop and remember the journey that got them this far.
Each one of these girls deserves love, respect, acknowledgement
If you don’t take the time to step back and give your soul space for all that it has been through, for the seasons your spirit has weathered— you cannot properly make room for the seasons to come.
“I am finally in a place in my life, where I can read the chapters of my life, without wanting to burn them all.”—Anonymous
So to every version of yourself, love them, love them in the mess, love them in the beauty, love them because they all represent moments in this life where you forged your soul through to another season.
You are all worthy.
You are all a part of me.
You are all accepted, and quite possibly the most important thing we can know and say to ourselves— You are all celebrated!
🤍🌻🌞 Keep being brave friends!
